2015 Silverado paint looking rough – anyone tried a pro detail on their Chevy truck?

I've been using my Silverado for work around Abu Dhabi and the front end is absolutely peppered with tiny rock chips, plus the clear coat on the hood is starting to look cloudy no matter how much I wax it. A buddy mentioned a Chevrolet professional vehicle detailing service that does paint correction and ceramic coatings specifically for trucks, but I'm not sure if that would actually help with the existing chips or just make the rest of the paint look better in comparison. Has anyone here taken their older Chevy truck for a full detail and felt it was worth the cost, or should I just accept that a work truck is going to get beat up and save my money? I don't need it perfect, but I'd like to slow down the clear coat failure if possible.
